Born in Montreal to a Yiddish speaking family, Michael has always loved combining his theatre background with his Yiddish roots. Michael’s Yiddish Theatre show A Bis’l Zun has earned rave reviews from the Jewish Press. His enveloping lyric tenor voice is perfectly suited to the music of the era, and his tap dancing and comic flair make for a genuine trip down 2nd Avenue. His show is now available on DVD, and features stellar guest artists Aviva Chernick (Huppah Project/Jaffa Road), Cantor Neil Michaels (Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber Nat. tour), as well as Sonia Lee, featured violinist for Josh Groban. The DVD was shot by three time Emmy award winning production company, Evolution Media, and mixed by Grammy award winning engineer Todd Fairall.
