Michael created Temple Israel’s two T’fillah Teams in order to better transform our congregants’ lives through Jewish prayer. A T’fillah Team is a close knit group of service leaders who meet regularly to pray, study, learn musical arrangements of prayers, and lead services as a dynamic team. Temple Israel now has a multi-generational T’fillah Team, as well as a Teen T’fillah Team. Our Teen T’fillah Team was able to share their inspiring kavannah and superb voices with the whole Reform movement when they led Friday night services at the URJ’s Biennial convention.
